well theres not really any secrets lol. you have a sail, and board i assume. and it connects and works well. i'd reccomend taking lessons. its too hard to explain when you're not on the water actually. first and foremost you need to have your back to the wind, if not you'll get blown over. keep your feet in the middle, and hold the sail straight up to sail forward. turning DOWNWIND (the direction the wind goes) you lean the sail towards the front of the board. turning UPWIND (towards where the wind is coming from) you lean the sail to the back. that is basic windsurfing. other than that, you tack to turn around. lean the sail ALL the way to the back of the board so it almost touches the tail, and when you are turned straight up to wehre the wind is coming from, start taking baby steps to turn around the board. then hold the sail in the "T" position (where the sail is perpendicular to the board, and you tacked. idk how good you are, but i can waterstart, get into footstraps, and use the harness.

in my case it saved .8 lbs and i noticed when i bunny hopped and go off any ramp
the performance difference is the beggining of the stroke goes down easier so its good on small bumps but the rest is the same to me
